Wandsworth Symphony Orchestra concert on March 13th

On Saturday March the 13th the Wandsworth Symphony Orchestra will be hosting a concert at St Mary’s church in Putney Bridge.

 

Conductor

The orchestra is conducted by Keith Stent, who’s been with the orchestra for almost 50 years. In case you didn’t know conducting is a means of communicating artistic directions to performers during a performance.

 

Soloist

The soloist for the night will be Mitra Alice Tham, a highly talented pianist who gave her first public performance at the age of 3. Since then she has gone on to win numerous awards and accolades all around the world. Mitra has performed for the public, private events held by the Rotary club and also prestigious dignitaries such as the Prince of Wales and the President of Singapore.
